Ingredients

For the Patty:

  • Minced chicken, beef, or lamb - 500 g
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder (optional) - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder (optional) - 1/2 tsp

For Assembling the Burger:

  • Burger buns - 4
  • Cheese slices - 4
  • Lettuce leaves - 4
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1
  • Onion rings - 1 medium
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Patty

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, and spices.
  2. Mix well and shape into round patties (about the size of your burger buns).
  3. Heat a non-stick pan or grill over medium heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked.

Step 2: Toast the Buns

  1. Slice the burger buns in half.
  2. Lightly toast them on a pan or grill with a bit of butter until golden brown.

Step 3: Assemble the Burger

  1. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard on the bottom half of the bun.
  2. Place a lettuce leaf, then the patty, followed by a slice of cheese.
  3. Add tomato slices, onion rings, and pickles.
  4. Cover with the top half of the bun.

Step 4: Serve
