For the Dough:
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
- Yeast - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 2 tsp
- Warm water - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp

- Eggs (boiled) - 4
- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Green chilies (finely chopped) - 1-2 (optional)
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Butter or oil - 1 tbsp

Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and the yeast mixture. Add oil and knead into a soft, smooth dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
Step 2: Make the Egg Filling
- Heat butter or oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion and green chilies until fragrant.
- Peel the boiled eggs and chop them into small pieces.
- Add the chopped eggs to the pan along with black pepper and salt. Mix well.
- Remove from heat and let the filling cool completely.
Step 3: Assemble the Buns
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 6-8 equal portions.
- Flatten each portion into a small circle. Place a spoonful of the egg filling in the center.
- Seal the edges tightly and shape it into a round bun.
Step 4: Bake the Buns
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the buns on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover and let them rest for 15 minutes.
- Brush the tops with milk or egg wash for a shiny, golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the buns turn golden brown.
