Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Bread slices: 4 (white or whole wheat)
  • Cooked chicken: 1 cup (shredded or chopped)
  • Mayonnaise: 2 tbsp
  • Butter: 2 tbsp (softened)
  • Lettuce leaves: 2
  • Tomato: 1 (sliced)
  • Cucumber: 1/2 (sliced)
  • Cheese slices: 2 (optional)
  • Salt: To taste
  • Black pepper: To taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Filling:

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with mayonnaise.
  2. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper for seasoning.

2. Assemble the Sandwich:

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the buttered side of two slices, layer lettuce, sliced tomato, cucumber, and the chicken mixture.
  3. Add a cheese slice if desired.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing inward.

3. Toast or Serve:

  • Option 1: Serve the sandwich as is for a fresh and soft texture.
  • Option 2: Toast it in a sandwich maker or grill until golden brown and crispy.

4. Serve:
Cut the sandwich diagonally and serve with ketchup, mustard, or a side of potato chips.

Tip: You can customize your sandwich by adding boiled eggs, avocado slices, or a dash of hot sauce!
