Sri Lankan Rice and Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cooked rice
- 1 cup of dhal curry (lentil curry)
- 1 cup of chicken or fish curry
- ½ cup of beetroot curry
- ½ cup of green beans curry
- ½ cup of coconut sambol
- Pickles or chutney (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the rice and keep it warm.
- Prepare dhal curry using lentils, coconut milk, and spices.
- Make chicken or fish curry with Sri Lankan spices.
- Cook vegetable curries like beetroot and green beans with coconut milk.
- Mix freshly grated coconut with chili, lime, and salt to prepare coconut sambol.
- Serve the rice with the curries and sambol. Add pickles or chutney for extra flavor.
