Sri Lankan Rice and Curry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 cup of dhal curry (lentil curry)
  • 1 cup of chicken or fish curry
  • ½ cup of beetroot curry
  • ½ cup of green beans curry
  • ½ cup of coconut sambol
  • Pickles or chutney (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice and keep it warm.
  2. Prepare dhal curry using lentils, coconut milk, and spices.
  3. Make chicken or fish curry with Sri Lankan spices.
  4. Cook vegetable curries like beetroot and green beans with coconut milk.
  5. Mix freshly grated coconut with chili, lime, and salt to prepare coconut sambol.
  6. Serve the rice with the curries and sambol. Add pickles or chutney for extra flavor.
